Wildcats Fall to Utah State

OGDEN, Utah -- The Weber State men's tennis team suffered a 5-2 loss to Utah State in a non-conference tune up match at Edman Courts on Tuesday afternoon.

Landon Barlow and Caio Poitena defeated Sebastian Schneider and Matt Sweet in the No. 3 doubles match, but Utah State took the top two matches to score the opening point.

Oliver Good and Ryan Garner recorded Weber State's two points with wins in singles. Good defeated Fredrik Peterson 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 2 match, while Garner downed Tomas Cosmai 7-6, 6-4 at No. 6.

Both teams moved to 9-8 on the season. Weber State will head back out on the road for a Big Sky match against Sacramento State on Thursday, Mar. 27. for its next match.
