OGDEN, Utah – After helping guide the Wildcats to a 10-win regular season, five members of the Weber State University women's soccer team were honored by the Big Sky Conference on Tuesday.

Junior central midfielder Chansi Crompton was named First Team All-Big Sky, marking the third first-team honor of her career. Crompton has a career high 10 assists this season, and is one assist away from tying the Big Sky Conference's career assist record of 25. Crompton also has three goals and 16 total offensive points.

Senior central defender Brecken Holbrook and senior forward Mackenzie Harrison were named to the All-Big Sky Conference second team.

It's the fourth All-Big Sky honor for both Holbrook and Harrison. Harrison has six goals and four assists for 16 total offensive points. It's the third time in four years that she has scored at least five goals, and she is currently in third place on Weber State's career scoring list with 23 goals. She needs two more to tie for the Wildcats' career record.

Holbrook is a fourth-year starter and has played in 17 of the Wildcats' 19 matches this year, and has helped anchor a Weber State defense that has posted a 1.54 Goals-Against Average this season.

Senior forward Stacy Bair and junior outside defender Kellyn Ashby each earned Honorable Mention All-Big Sky. It's the first All-Conference award for both players.

The All-Big Sky team and individual awards are decided by a vote of the league's 11 head coaches, who cannot vote for their own players.

Eastern Washington's Chloe Williams was named the Big Sky's Offensive MVP, Northern Colorado's Adrienne Jordan and Mariel Gutierrez were named Defensive MVP and Newcomer of the Year, respectively, and Idaho's Amanda Poertner was named Goalkeeper of the Year.

Idaho, Northern Colorado, Eastern Washington, Weber State, Montana, and Sacramento State all secured berths in the Big Sky Conference postseason tournament, which gets underway on Thursday in Moscow, Idaho. The Eagles and Hornets will kick things off at 11 a.m. MT, with the Wildcats and Grizzlies meeting at approximately 2 p.m. MT. The top seed and host Vandals and Bears each have quarterfinal byes and will join the action on Friday at 2 p.m. and 11 a.m. MT, respectively.
