POCATELLO, Idaho -- Jeremy Senglin's career-high 30 points lifted Weber State to a 70-63 win at Idaho State Saturday night at Holt Arena. The win moves Weber State to 10-12 overall and 5-6 in conference play.

The Wildcats held a 32-27 lead at halftime after shooting 52 percent from the field in the half. Weber State never trailed in the second half but never led by more than seven points. The 'Cats led by just two points with 22 seconds left when Richaud Gittens knocked down a huge 3-pointer to seal the win.

Weber State finished the game shooting 43 percent from the field, compared to 47 percent for Idaho State. The Bengals also outrebounded the Wildcats 33-28 but Weber State was 21-of-26 from the free throw line for 80 percent shooting. The Wildcats also had eight steals and five blocked shots.

“I was really proud of our guys tonight,” said WSU head coach Randy Rahe. “We fought really hard and were able to find a way to win. We found some ways to get some good stops and were able to knock down some free throws. Jeremy was terrific tonight. He was able to draw some fouls and get to the line and had a great game.”

Senglin, a sophomore out of Arlington, Texas, finished the game 7-of-8 shooting from the field, including 2-of-3 from the 3-point line. He was also 14-of-15 from the free throw line and added two assists and two steals. It was his 12th straight game scoring in double figures. He also became the first Wildcat to score 30 points in a game since Damian Lillard in February 2012.

Junior Joel Bolomboy added his eighth double-double of the year, finishing with 14 points and a team-high 11 rebounds, to go along with four blocked shots. Chris Golden also added 14 points and knocked down three 3-pointers.

After playing seven of their first 11 Big Sky games on the road, the Wildcats will finish the season with five of their final seven games at home. WSU hosts Southern Utah Thursday at Northern Arizona Saturday.
