'Cats fall 6-1 to Vandals

OGDEN, Utah – The Weber State women's tennis team ended a three match winning streak falling 6-1 to University of Idaho.
Romy Dodd-Stephens and Dominique Beauvais won in doubles defeating Belen Barcenilla and Sophie Vickers 6-2 in the No. 2 doubles spot. The effort went unrewarded as Idaho won the doubles point.
Kristi Elmer earned the lone point for Weber State. Elmer quickly defeated Rita Bermudez 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles spot.
Weber State has a 5-3 overall record on the season and are 2-1 in Big Sky Conference play. The Wildcats will now hit the road for six consecutive road games starting with the University of Utah Sunday March 22.Â
