Weber State falls 4-1 to NAU in Big Sky Tournament

Weber State's men's tennis team fell 4-1 to Northern Arizona Saturday afternoon in the semi-final match of the Big Sky Conference tournament.
In doubles play Landon Barlow and Hou-En Chen took down Felix Schumann and Kester Black 8-4 in the No. 3 spot. They picked up the only doubles win for the Wildcats and pushed their win streak to 10.
The No. 1 doubles team of Sanjay Goswami and Stefan Cooper dropped their first conference loss all season to Jordan Gobatie and Alexandre Locci. NAU ended up taking the doubles point. The Wildcats had their work cut out for them going into singles play.
In singles play Barlow dropped a quick two set match to Eden Peleg 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 4 spot. Goswami picked up the only point for Weber State by defeating Adi Zilberstein 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 6 spot. Todd Fought was up a set in his match but with losses by the Wildcats at the No. 2 and 5 spots, NAU claimed the 4-1 victory.
Weber State ended the season with a 15-10 overall record and went 10-2 in Big Sky matches.
