OGDEN - Joel Bolomboy and Jeremy Senglin combined for 46 points to lead Weber State to its fifth-straight win, a 74-62 victory over North Dakota Thursday night at the Dee Events Center. The win moved the 'Cats to 10-5 overall and 2-0 in Big Sky Conference play.

Bolomboy finished with 20 points and grabbed a career-high 23 rebounds. The 23 rebounds is the most by a Wildcat player since 1987 and just two shy of the school record held by Willie Sojourner. It marked his 14th double-double this season in 15 games and is his second 20-20 game.

Senglin scored 26 points, the second-highest total of his career. He was 7 of 15 from the field, including five 3-pointers. He also dished out three assists and had two steals. He also became the 31st player in Weber State history to reach 1,000 career points, doing so in 70 career games with the Wildcats.

The Wildcats led by as many as 19 in the first half and held a 41-29 lead at halftime. WSU shot 51 percent from the field in the first half but struggled to shoot just 32 percent in the second half. UND opened the second half on a 10-4 run to cut the lead to six points. The Wildcats stretched the lead again to 13 points but the Fighting Hawks cut it back to eight points with five minutes to play before Weber State went on an 8-3 run to seal the win.

“We did some nice things tonight and got a nice win,” said WSU head coach Randy Rahe. “I really liked how we started the game. We played with a lot of energy and great defense to start the game. We took our foot off the accelerator and relaxed a bit and let them back in it. But I was proud of how we hung in there and got the lead back and made the stops when we needed to.”

The Wildcats outrebouned the Fighting Hawks 45-34 and had 14 assists and seven blocks. The Wildcats shot 41 percent from the field and held UND to 39 percent shooting.

The 'Cats improved to a perfect 8-0 all-time against North Dakota (6-8, 1-2), who was led by Quinton Hooker with 23 points.

Weber State wraps up its five-game homestand Saturday night hosting Northern Colorado at 7 p.m. at the Dee Events Center.
