Weber State Soccer announces three new Wildcats

OGDEN — Weber State women's soccer is excited to announce the signing of three new Wildcats for the 2019 season. Lauren McConnell, Rachel Twede and Sadie Noble will all join the Wildcat family next fall.
"We are excited to welcome these incoming players to the Wildcat family," said head coach Tim Crompton. "Our team is looking forward to these new girls and their arrival on campus, and expect they will fit right in with the team."
Lauren McConnell - Midfield/Defense - 5-4
McConnell is a midfielder from Nibley, UT. She played for the Girls La Roca Developmental Academy in addition she made the Olympic Development Program each year she tried out and advanced to the region and national pools in the program.
Sadie Noble - Midfield - 5-7
Noble is a midfielder from Logan, Utah. She lettered in soccer three years at Skyview High School. She played club soccer for La Roca and was team captain for four years including 2015 when she helped her team win the State Cup. In 2016 and 2017 her club team were finalists in the stat cup.
Rachel Twede - Defense - 5-8
Twede is a defender from Sandy, Utah. She lettered in soccer two years at Alta High School. She played club soccer for Sparta United where they won the State Cup in 2012 and 2014. She was named to the 1st team All-Region and 4A All-State First Team in 2016-17.
