Wildcats off to Big Sky Tournament

POST SEASON NOTES
• This is the first time Weber State has made back-to-back appearances in the Big Sky Tournament since 2007 and 2008.
• This will be the second meeting between Northern Colorado and Weber State in post season play.
• WSU has a 1-0 record over the Bears in the Big Sky Tournament.
• Last time the two teams met up in the post season the Wildcats beat the Bears in three sets.
• This is the 11th time in school history, WSU has made it to the Big Sky Tournament.
• Weber State has a 5-9 record in Big Sky post season action.
• The Wildcats have one Big Sky Title under their belt when WSU took down Boise State in three sets back in 1988.

• Weber State's Ashlyn Power recently broke into the top 10 in the nation with aces per set. She averages .50 aces per set and leads the Big Sky Conference. Recently Power has been stepping up her game, she has 48 total aces in 96 sets. The Wildcats also sit at No. 1 in the Big Sky in service aces averaging 1.74 per set and have racked up 177 total which is the third highest in Big Sky.
LONE SENIOR ANDREA HALE
• Weber State's lone senior is Andrea Hale. In her four years at Weber State she's played in 350 sets and 105 matches. She became the 12th Wildcat in school history to break into the 1,000 kill club. She averages 2.94 kills a set and has racked up 3,000 attacks. Hale has deveolped into a leader and a great volleyball player. In the summer of 2018 she had the opportunity to play with the U.S. Collegiate Women's National Team. She has a career high of 28 kills on two separate occasions. She's hit 10 or more kills nearly 50 times in her career.
