• Weber State kicks off its 57th season of Division I basketball as the Wildcats travel to take on the University of San Diego Tuesday night.
• The Wildcats opened the season with a 83-66 loss at San Diego on Tuesday.
• Junior Cody John scored 22 points to lead Weber State in his first game since missing all of last year.
• Weber State is coming off a 20-11 overall record and a 13-6 record in Big Sky play last season. It was the third-straight 20 win season for the Wildcats.
• WSU played without All-Big Sky guard Jerrick Harding who missed Tuesday's game with a sprained ankle.
• Weber State head coach Randy Rahe returns for his 13th season as head coach of the Wildcats. Rahe is the Weber State's and the Big Sky Conference's all-time leader in coaching victories with 248 career wins.
• Bethesda is a National Christian College Athletic Association school located in Anaheim, California. The Flames are 0-4 so far this season.
• The Wildcats were picked to finish second in the Big Sky standings in the preseason polls.
• Weber State is 50-6 all-time in home openers.
• This is the first meeting between the two schools.
