Wildcats fall to Utes 4-1

Salt Lake City – Weber State women's tennis team took on the University of Utah Saturday afternoon and fell 4-1.
"Tonight was a tough match against a very good Utah team," said head coach Mark Roberts. "Although, we tried hard we came up a bit short. We look forward to our first home match next weekend against Boise State."
Utah ended up picking up the doubles point with wins in the No. 1 and No. 3 spots.
Utah picked up wins in the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 spots to claim the overall victory. Weber State's lone point was on default as Utah didn't have a competitor in the No. 6 spot.
Weber State is 2-4 overall on the season and will have its first home match of the season Sunday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. against Boise State. The Wildcats will also compete in their first Big Sky Match 2 against North Dakota.
