'Cats fall 4-3 to Montana

Weber State women's tennis dropped a close match to Montana Wednesday afternoon with a final score of 4-3.
Montana started things off by taking the doubles point with wins in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots. Â
In singles action the Griz came away with a win in the No. 1 spot giving Montana a 2-0 overall lead.
Pei_Hsuan Kuo played great tennis in the No. 2 spot and pulled out a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Cam Kincaid.
Dominique Beauvais followed that up with a win in the No. 4 spot by defeating Bianca Bostrom 6-2, 6-3. Things were all tied up at 2-2 when the Griz picked up a win at the No. 3 spot.
To keep the Wildcats alive Morgan Dickason came away with a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Lidia Dukic in the No. 5 spot.
With the match on the line, and a close second set, the Griz pulled out a win in the No. 6 spot to take the overall match 4-3.
Weber State is now 8-8 overall on the season and sitting at 4-2 in Big Sky play. The Wildcats next match is April 6 at home vs. Santa Clara.
