Wildcats open Big Sky play at Idaho Saturday

THE GAME
• It's Big Sky Conference time for the Weber State football team as the Wildcats open league play at the University of Idaho. Â
• Saturday's game will kickoff at 2 p.m. Pacific time (3 MT) from the Kibbie Dome in Moscow. The game will be streamed online for free on Pluto TV 542 and WatchBigSky.com.Â
• Radio broadcast will be on 1430 KLO radio and kloradio.com with Steve Klauke and former Wildcat head coach and athletic director Jerry Graybeal on the call.Â

OPENING DRIVEÂ
• Weber State is 2-2 on the season following Saturday's 29-17 home win over Northern Iowa in a top-10 national showdown.Â
• Idaho is 2-3 overall and is 0-1 in Big Sky play. The Vandals opened the Big Sky season last week with a 27-24 loss at Northern Colorado.Â
• Weber State is ranked fourth in the nation in the STATS FCS poll and fifth in the AFCA Coaches poll. The Wildcats are the highest ranked Big Sky school.Â
• Weber State senior punter Doug Lloyd was named the Big Sky Special Teams Player of the Week after his performance in Saturday's win.Â
• Jay Hill is his sixth season as head coach of the Wildcats. Hill has a career record of 38-28 at Weber State. Hill is 27-13 in Big Sky games.Â
• The Vandals are coached by longtime coach Paul Petrino who is in his seventh season as head coach at Idaho.Â
• Weber State has won 19 of its last 21 games against Big Sky schools.Â
• This will be the first game against the University of Idaho since the Vandals rejoined the Big Sky. It will be the first game against the two schools since 1995. Â
• Idaho holds an 18-13-1 all-time record against Weber State. Both schools are charter members of the Big Sky Conference. Â
• This season the Wildcats are celebrating 100 years of football at Weber State and the 150th year of college football.Â
