Wildcats roll to record-setting 130-50 win

Weber State men's basketball team made history and picked up its first win of the season with a dominating 130-50 win over West Coast Baptist Tuesday night at the Dee Events Center.
The Wildcats set school records for most points in a game, largest margin of victory and field goal percentage after shooting 75 percent from the field.
Weber State also made 17 3-pointers and had 29 assists, both tied for the fourth most in a game in WSU history.
The 'Cats pulled down 41 rebounds, compared to 17 for West Coast Baptist and held the Eagles to 30 percent shooting. West Coast Baptist is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association located in Lancaster, California.
Six Wildcats scored in double figures and all 12 Wildcats that played scored in the game. Senior Jerrick Harding led the way with 23 points on 8 of 10 shooting. Tim Fuller had 18 points on 9 of 10 shooting and Israel Barnes had 15 points and was 7 of 8 from the field. Dima Zdor, Kham Davis and Austin Galuppo each added 12 points.

The Wildcats now prepare for three games at the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida next Monday-Wednesday. The Wildcats will open the tournament Monday taking on Wright State at 3 p.m. Mountain time.
