Weber State at James Madison Saturday night in FCS Semifinals

After an historic win over Montana late Friday night, it's on to the semifinals of the FCS Playoffs for the first time ever for the Weber State football team.Â

The No. 3 seed Wildcats will head to No. 2 seed James Madison for a semifinal matchup Saturday. The game will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time (4:30 p.m. MT) from Harrisonburg, Virginia, and will be televised nationally on ESPNU.Â

Weber State improved to 11-3 on the season after a 17-10 win over Montana Friday night in the quarterfinals. The Wildcat defense had five interceptions and recorded six sacks in the win.Â

Coach Jay Hill and Weber State improved to 11-3 on the season and will play in the semifinals for the first time in school history, with the winner advancing to the FCS Championship game on Jan. 11 in Frisco, Texas.Â

James Madison is 13-1 on the season. The Dukes opened the season with a 20-13 loss at West Virginia and have won 13-straight since then. JMU won the Colonial Athletic Association -with an 8-0 record and defeated Monmouth and Northern Iowa in the FCS Playoffs.Â
