Weber State bounced back with an 86-71 win at Northern Arizona Saturday afternoon in Flagstaff.
The win improves WSU to 15-9 overall and 9-4 in Big Sky play.
Weber State never trailed in the game and had a 15-1 run in the first half, before taking a 46-27 lead at halftime. NAU was never closer than 13 points the rest of the way and the 'Cats led by as many as 22.
Weber State shot 54 percent from the field and held NAU to 42 percent and just 4 of 20 shooting from 3-point range. The Wildcats were also 11 of 14 from the free throw line.
Jerrick Harding led the Wildcats with 29 points and knocked down four 3-pointers. He also had five rebounds, a season-high four assists and two steals.
Cody John added a career-high 25 points on 9 of 13 shooting and also added six rebounds and two assists.
Israel Barnes added 11 points for the Wildcats, who were without senior Zach Braxton who missed the game with a sprained ankle suffered in the game at Southern Utah.
"We were short handed today and played really, really hard and with a lot of confidence and it was a gutsy win," said WSU head coach Randy Rahe. "We moved the ball really well as a team and Cody and Jerrick played terrific and made the plays when we needed them."
The Wildcats won their seventh-straight game against Northern Arizona and their 10th straight road win at NAU.
Weber State returns home to host Big Sky leader Montana Thursday night at the Dee Events Center.
