Weber State dropped its third-straight game as the 'Cats fell 71-57 at Sacramento State Saturday night at the Nest in Sacramento.Â

How it happenedÂ
The Hornets had an 11-0 run and took a 12-point first half lead late in the first half, then led 28-18 at the break as the Wildcats shot just 22 percent from the field in the first half, including 1 of 9 from 3-point range.Â

Sac State led by as many as 14 points in the second half. The Wildcats trimmed the lead to seven points at 64-57 with 2:21 to play, but the Hornets scored the final seven points of the game to secure the win, their second-straight home win over the Wildcats.Â

The Hornets outrebounded the Wildcats 36-28 and Sacramento State had 14 offensive rebounds, which they turned into 15 second chance points. The Hornets shot 48 percent from the field and held WSU to 39 percent shooting.Â

Four Wildcats scored in double figures, led by Jerrick Harding with 19 points. Michal Kozak had 12 points and nine rebounds, while playing all 40 minutes.
