Weber State women's basketball dropped a Sunday afternoon road tilt, falling 84-58 at Boise State in ExtraMile Arena.

The Broncos led 18-16 after the first quarter, but then outscored the Wildcats 22-8 in the second quarter to take a 40-24 lead at halftime. The Wildcats were also outscored 20-12 in the fourth quarter.

Senior Dominique Williams, a native of nearby Meridian, Idaho, led the Wildcats with 12 points and five rebounds.

Junior Emma Torbert played in her first game as a Wildcat after transferring from Nevada last year. She finished with 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds, along with two steals.

Shianne Johnson added eight points and Kori Pentzer had seven. WSU shot 29 percent from the field, while the Broncos shot 45 percent.

The loss drops WSU to 0-3 on the season. The Wildcats have this week off before their final non-conference game on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at home against Pacific.

That will be the first of four-straight home games at the Dee Events Center. Weber State begins Big Sky play hosting Portland State on Dec. 18 and 20.
