Weber State to host Montana for Field Trip Day and MSU Saturday

• The Weber State women's basketball team returns home for two of the final four home games of the season by first hosting Montana in the annual field trip day and then Montana State.
• Tip off for the Montana game will be Feb. 13 at 11:00 AM (MT)

FAST BREAK
• Weber State is coming off a 92-61 loss to Northern Arizona.
• Weber State is currently 3-19 on the season and 1-12 in Big Sky action.
• WSU is on a nine game losing streak. WSU has lost 12 of the last 13 games.
• Weber State returned three starters and lost two. WSU is also returning six letterwinners and lost two.
• The Wildcats welcomed six new comers.
• The Wildcats were picked No. 11 in the Big Sky preseason polls.
• Head Coach Velaida Harris is in her second season leading the Wildcats and brought back assistant coach Amy Donovan and director of operatons Nate Levine. She also hired two new coaches this year, Anthony Turner and Robert Yonce.
SEASON OPENERS
• The Wildcats are now 24-21 in season openers in school history.
• Weber State snapped a six game winning streak in season openers with the loss to UCLA this year.
• Weber State started the season on the road for the first time since 2013.
• WSU is has a 4-13 record in the openers on the road.
Conference Openers
• Weber State is 10-21 in Big SkyConference openers. WSU is 4-11 in conference openers on the road and 6-10 at home.
• WSU is 0-2 in Big Sky openers under head coach Velaida Harris. Harris is 0-1in conference openers on the road and 0-1 in home Big Sky openers.
• The last time Weber State debuted conference play against Eastern Washington was in 2019. The Wildcats fell 58-64.
DOUBLE FIGURES AVERAGE
• Weber State has just one Wildcat averaging double figures so far this season.

TRUE FRESHMAN DEBUT
• Freshman Ula Chamberlin started her career as a collegiate athlete with a bang. She scored 15 points against No. 11 UCLA in the season opener. She has since gone on to average double digits with 10.3 points per game. Chamberlin also hit a career high and dropped 20 points against UC Riverside. She's scored double figures in seven games this year.
NOTHING GRAVE ABOUT IT
• Redshirt Junior Liz Graves has finally come into her role as a Wildcat. She was named the Big Sky Player of the Week on Dec. 23 for her performances against Utah Valley and Utah. She averaged 23.5 points per game and shot 56 percent from the field, 60 percent from the three and 93 percent from the field.
Against Utah Valley Graves dropped 26 points going 10-14 from the field and 3-4 from the three. She also pulled down seven boards. She followed that performance up by dropping 21 points against the University of Utah. She's recorded double figures in 14 games this season.
Graves also leads the team in rebounding racking up 113 total on the season averaging 5.4 a game.
DIRTY THIRTY
• Freshman Daryn Hickok has blossomed. Against, Southern Utah Hickok came away with 30 total points going 9-11 from the field and 12-17 from the line.
Against Northern Colorado Hickok stayed hot and put up 23 points to lead all scorers. She now averages 9.9 points per game.
