Wildcats beat Lumberjacks for second straight win

OGDEN - Four players scored in double figures as Weber State won its second-straight game with a 76-70 win over Northern Arizona Saturday night at the Dee Events Center. The Wildcats have won four of their last five games and improved to 10-14 overall and 6-7 in Big Sky play. 

How it happened
Weber State held a 30-24 lead at halftime and started the second half on a 7-0 run. The 'Cats led by as many as 19 points with 11:51 to play, before NAU rallied to make it a game. The Lumberjacks went on a 14-6 run to cut the Wildcat lead to 69-65 with 55 seconds left. WSU made seven of eight free throw attempts in the last minute to seal the win.

The Wildcats shot 48 percent from the field for the game, including 57 percent in the second half. WSU held Northern Arizona to 41 percent shooting and the Wildcats outrebounded NAU 34-33. 

After his record-setting performance on Thursday, Jerrick Harding led the Wildcats once again, finishing with 24 points, with 20 points coming in the second half. He knocked down four 3-pointers and was 4 of 4 from the free throw line, along with three steals and two assists. 

Michal Kozak added 14 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Cody John had 11 points, Tim Fuller had 10 points and six rebounds and Dima Zdor added six points and seven rebounds off the bench.
