Weber State senior defensive end and Big Sky Defensive MVP Jonah Williams has signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Rams.

Williams was one of 20 players signed by the Rams as undrafted free agents following the NFL Draft.

The Meridian, Idaho native finished his career at Weber State in 2019 and earned All-America honors and was named the Big Sky Co-Defensive MVP. He was part of the winningest senior class in school history that won three Big Sky titles and made four FCS Playoff appearances.

In his 54 career games, Williams had 15 sacks, which ranks ninth in school history, and had 28 career tackles for loss. He also had 194 total tackles with three fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles.

As a senior last season he started all 15 games during Weber State's historic season, helping WSU win a third-straight Big Sky title and advance to the FCS Semifinals. He became the fifth player in Weber State history to be named Defensive MVP. He served as a team captain and finished fifth in the Big Sky in sacks with 7.5 and was 12th in the conference in tackles for loss with 11.

Williams also earned Big Sky Academic All-Conference honors four times in his career and graduated from Weber State University in December 2019 with a degree in Business Administration/Finance.
