Back in the rankings! After a thrilling win at No. 2 Eastern Washington on Saturday, Weber State is back in the national rankings.

The Wildcats are ranked 23rd in the nation in both the Stats Perform and AFCA Coaches poll. WSU fell out of the rankings last week for the first time since 2016.

Weber State is 3-4 overall and 2-2 in Big Sky play and coming off a 35-34 win at No. 2 Eastern Washington on Saturday. The Wildcats totaled 482 yards of offense and held EWU's high powered offense to a season-low 434 yards. The win snapped EWU's 20-game home winning streak, dating back to a Nov. 4, 2017 Weber State win.

The Wildcats also forced three turnovers with two forced fumbles and one interception.

Eddie Heckard was honored as the Big Sky Player of the Week for his performance in the win and sophomore running back Kris Jackson had 93 rushing yards with three touchdowns.

Weber State has four games left in the regular season and is back on the road this Saturday at 1 p.m. taking on Idaho State in Pocatello. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

The 'Cats are back home on Saturday, November 6 at 1 p.m. against Portland State.
