Wildcats fall to Bears in Greeley

Weber State hit the road for the final time in the regular season but the Wildcats fell 83-60 to Northern Colorado Wednesday night in Greeley.
The loss snapped Weber State's two-game winning streak from home wins last week.
The Bears led 21-19 after the first quarter but then dominated the Wildcats 23-5 in the second quarter. UNC led by as many as 27 points in the fourth quarter.
UNC shot 50 percent from the field and held the Wildcats to 36 percent. WSU was 18 of 21 from the free throw line but the Bears outrebounded the Wildcats 34-25 and had 23 second chance points.
Daryn Hickok, the reigning Big Sky Player of the Week, led the 'Cats in scoring once again, finishing with 19 points on 6 of 11 shooting. She was also 7 of 9 from the free throw line and tied her career-high with eight rebounds.
Jadyn Matthews tied her career-high with 17 points, including 8 of 8 from the free throw line, along with four rebounds and two steals.
Vicky Parra led the Wildcats with a career-high nine rebounds.
The two teams will meet again Friday night in Greeley in the final regular season game.
After that the Wildcats will head to the Big Sky Tournament in Boise. Weber State will be either the No. 10 or No. 11 seed, with the first game scheduled for Monday.
