WSU back on the road at Colorado State Monday

• Weber State men's basketball heads back on the road for a game at Colorado State on Monday in Fort Collins. The Wildcats and Rams will tipoff at 7 p.m. at Moby Arena. The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Digital Network. WSU radio coverage with Steve Klauke on 103.1 FM "The Wave". Live stats will be available at WeberStateSports.com. 

• Weber State is 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats opened the season with a 69-52 loss at Washington on Monday before an 83-67 win over Western Colorado on Thursday. 

• Colorado State is 2-0 on the season after home wins over Gardner-Webb and Southeastern Louisiana to begin the season. 

• In Thursday's win, WSU sophomore Dillon Jones had 21 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and two steals to lead the Wildcats. It was his 19th career double-double. Jones, who earned second-team All-Big Sky and All-District honors last season, finished seventh in the country in rebounding last season at 10.6 rebounds per game. He also was 10th in the nation in double-doubles with 17 and averaged 12.6 points per game. Through two games this season, Jones is averaging 14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. He also became the 32nd player in WSU history to surpass 500 career rebounds.  

• Weber State is under the direction of new head coach in Eric Duft who was named the 10th head coach in Weber State history in May. Duft replaced Randy Rahe who retired after 16 seasons as the head coach at Weber State as the Big Sky Conference's all-time leader in career wins and led the Wildcats to five Big Sky titles and three trips to the NCAA Tournament. Duft spent all 16 seasons as an assistant coach under Rahe. The 'Cats finished 21-12 overall and finished in a tie for third in the Big Sky at 13-7. 

• The Wildcats return five players off last year's squad and have eight new scholarship players this season, including four Division I transfers.

• This will be the eighth all-time meeting between the two schools and the first since 2013. Weber State holds a 5-2 series lead but the Rams are 2-1 in Fort Collins, including a win in 2013.  

• After Monday, the Wildcats will play three games at Vegas 4 Tournament Nov. 21-23, taking on UC Riverside, Abilene Christian and Wright State.
