Win and Advance; Wildcats win first round playoff game 38-31 over UND

Weber State will take on Montana State on Saturday, December 3 in Bozeman in the second round.
The Wildcats now get a rematch at Montana State next Saturday, December 3 in Bozeman in the second round of the playoffs.
WSU rushed for 330 yards on the day and totaled 440 yards of offense in the win over the Fighting Hawks.
The Wildcats scored 24 points in the second quarter and jumped out to a 31-14 lead at halftime. The 'Cats led 38-17 after three quarters before two North Dakota touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
North Dakota got the ball back with 1:49 to play but the Wildcat defense stopped the drive to secure the win.
Josh Davis rushed for 129 yards on 21 carries with two touchdowns, including a 2-yarder for Weber State's final score in the third quarter.
Eddie Heckard led the defense with nine tackles and Winston Reid added seven tackles and a sack.
The victory gave Weber State 10 wins on the season for just the sixth time in school history, with four 10-win seasons coming since 2017 under head coach Jay Hill.
Saturday's game in Bozeman will kickoff at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
