Wildcats hit the road for two games this week

Weber State will play at Montana on Thursday and at Montana State on Saturday.
• After picking up a home win on Saturday, the Weber State women's basketball team hits the road for two games this week at Montana Thursday and Montana State Saturday. Thursday's game in Missoula will tipoff at 7 p.m. and Saturday's game in Bozeman will be at 2 p.m. Both games will be televised on ESPN+ with live stats available at WeberStateSports.com and the Weber State Wildcats mobile app.
• The Wildcats enter this week at 8-12 overall and 4-7 in Big Sky play. The 'Cats are coming off a 79-76 win over Sacramento State on Saturday.
• Emma Torbert had a career-high 29 points and made the game winning 3-pointer in Saturday's win. She was 11 of 20 from the field and knocked down three 3-pointers, to go along with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. On the season Torbert is now ninth in the conference in scoring at 12.8 points per game and ninth in rebounding at 7.2 per game. She is also second in the league in blocked shots, fourth in steals and sixth in free throw percentage.
• Daryn Hickok added 11 points with six rebounds in Saturday's win. She ranks sixth in the Big Sky in scoring at 13.6 points per game and has scored in double figures 13 times. She is also seventh in the league in rebounding and has four double-doubles. Jadyn Matthews had her sixth double-double of the season as she finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds in the win. She has now scored in double figures 14 times this season and has reached 20 or more points three times. She is second in the Big Sky in rebounding at 9.4 per game and is 10th in scoring at 12.6 points per game.
• Weber State is 12th in the nation in total free throws made with 301 for an average of 15.1 made per game. The Wildcats are 23rd nationally in free throw percentage at 77.2 percent.
• Montana is 12-5 overall and 5-3 heading into Thursday's game. The Wildcats beat the Lady Griz 66-56 on Jan. 1 in Ogden. Montana State is 12-8 overall and 7-2 in Big Sky play entering this week. The Wildcats also beat the Bobcats 68-63 on Dec. 30 in Ogden.
• Montana holds a 73-14 all-time series lead over Weber State and is 40-4 in Missoula, including 13 straight games. WSU's win on January 2 snapped a six-game losing streak to the Lady Griz. Montana State holds a 55-33 lead over the Wildcats. WSU's win on December 30 also snapped a six-game losing streak to the Bobcats.
• After the two road games this week, the Wildcats are back home to host Eastern Washington and Idaho next week.
