Pink Game Wednesday night. Wildcats have just three games left in the regular season.

The Weber State women's basketball team is back home for the final homestand of the season this week starting Wednesday night against Portland State. The Wildcats and Vikings will play Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Dee Events Center. It will be televised on ESPN+ with live stats available at WeberStateSports.com and the Weber State Wildcats mobile app. The game was moved to Wednesday due to Weber State hosting the Utah 3A State Basketball Tournament this week at the Dee Events Center.

Wednesday's game is the annual Think Pink game.

Weber State enters this week at 9-17 overall and 5-12 in Big Sky play. The Wildcats are coming off a 62-52 win at Sacramento State last Thursday and a 60-55 overtime loss at Northern Colorado on Saturday. Weber State has just three conference games remaining in the regular season before the conference tournament.

Portland State is 5-18 overall and 0-15 in Big Sky play and enters Wednesday's game having lost 13 straight games.

The Wildcats beat the Vikings 85-57 in the second Big Sky game of the season on December 4 in Portland. In that game the Wildcats shot 57 percent from the field and held the Vikings to 38 percent shooting. WSU also outrebounded the Vikings 43-21. Daryn Hickok led the way with 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Hickok led the Wildcats in the two games last week, averaging 14 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while shooting 12-17 from the field. She had 12 points and nine rebounds on 5 of 8 shooting in Thursday's win at Sacramento State and followed that up with 16 points and six rebounds on 5 of 8 shooting at Northern Colorado. Hickok has now scored in double figures in 11 straight games. She is third in the Big Sky in scoring at 14.6 points per game. She is also seventh in rebounding at 7.6 per game and is second in the league in field goal percentage at 51.4 percent. She is also sixth in steals.

Jadyn Matthews is third in the Big Sky in rebounding at 8.9 per game and is 12th in scoring. Emma Torbert is second in the league in blocked shots, fifth in steals, 12th in rebounding and 13th in scoring.

Weber State is 15th in the country in free throws made with 383, an average of 14.7 per game. The Wildcats are 30th in the country in free throw attempts. In the Big Sky, WSU is third in the conference in blocked shots at 3.2 per game and fourth in rebounding margin.

Portland State holds a 30-28 overall lead over Weber State, including the win earlier this season in Portland. In games in Ogden, Weber State is 15-12 all-time against the Vikings.

The final home game of the season will be on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Northern Arizona. That game will be senior day for Kori Pentzer and Aloma Solovi. After that, the Wildcats will close the regular season at Southern Utah on Friday, March 4.

The Big Sky Tournament will be held March 7-11 in Boise, Idaho. Weber State will play on Monday, March 7 in the first round at the Idaho Central Arena in Boise.
