Wildcat Tennis Stopped By Rebels In First Of Three Road Matches

'Cats contuine road matches Saturday and Sunday
Las Vegas, NV - The Weber State women's tennis team played their first of three road matches this Friday morning against UNLV at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
Match vs. UNLV
"We faced a tough UNLV team today. I am very proud of the fight and energy our team displayed," said head coach RuthAnn Allen.
UNLV took the early advantage by winning the doubles point. The Rebels were able to out beat the 'Cats on courts 2 and 3.
Finishing first, Ana Morett and Patty Kuo were bested by UNLV's Molly Helgesson and Zita Kovacs, 6-0. The Rebels Aura Fang and CoCo Zhao would shortly finish their 6-2 win over WSU's Megan Lombardi and Yuuna Ukita on court three.
Entering 1-0 into singles, UNLV won straight sets giving the Rebels the first win of the weekend 7-0.
"We have a couple more matches this weekend that will be difficult, but we are determined to make small improvements to help us come out on top."
