Wildcats, Beck Earn Third Place Finishes at Red Rocks

SEDONA, Ariz. – The Weber State women's golf team wrapped up the Red Rocks Invitational on Sunday afternoon with a third place finish in the team standings, while senior Taitum Beck posted a third place finish in the individual standings to lead the way for the Wildcats.

As a team, the Wildcats shot rounds of 294, 291 and 292 for a 54-hole total of 877. Grand Canyon finished with the team championship, shooting 865, while tournament-host Northern Arizona shot 871 to finish second.

Taitum Beck shot rounds of 71, 70 and 72 for a 3-under-par 213 en route to her third place finish, while carding 13 birdies during the tournament.

Freshman Isabel Gutierrez posted a career-best finish, shooting rounds of 75, 72 and 72 for a 3-over-par total of 219 to tie for 13th place. Morgan Bentley shot rounds of 74, 74 and 73 for a 5-over-par 221 to tie for 17th place, giving the 'Cats three players inside the top-20.

Jessica Zelasko (74-76-76) tied for 32nd at 226, while Molly Holbert (85-75-75) shot 235 to tie for 66th.

Northern Arizona's Eliska Kocourkova won individual medalist honors with rounds of 68, 73 and 70 for a 5-under-par 211. Grand Canyon's Siripatsorn Patchana finished one shot back in second place at 212.
