Wildcats fall to NAU in Big Sky Tournament final

'Cats season ends with a 14-9 overall record.
PHOENIX – Weber State saw it season come to an end with a 4-1 loss to Northern Arizona in the championship match of the Big Sky Tournament, held at the Phoenix Tennis Center.
NAU won the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead.
In singles play the Lumberjacks opened the match winning at the No. 1 singles to take a 2-0 lead.
Ana Morrett won her match at No. 2 singles 6-4, 6-2 to make it 2-1. But the Lumberjacks closed out the Wildcats with wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles to clinch the match.
This is the second-straight year the 'Cats have lost to NAU in the championship match of the Big Sky Tournament.
The loss ends WSU's season at 14-9 overall. Head coach RuthAnn Allen and the Wildcats captured the regular season title with a 7-1 conference record.
