Wildcats Fall On Road Trip To Eagles

Cheney, WA – Weber State volleyball was back in action on Thursday night as they went up against the Eastern Washington Eagles for the second time this season. The 'Cats fell in three sets 16-25, 17-25, 11-25.
The Wildcats went neck to neck in the first set stretching a 3-1 lead early on. The Eagles fought back and the set was tied 6-6. Pushing forward, the Eagles rattled off six straight points and never looked back 25-16 to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
There was a lot more of the same in the second and third sets. Weber State got down early and couldn't ever recover to get back in striking distance. Eastern Washington ran away 25-17 in set two and 25-11 in set three.
