Women's Tennis Takes Down Utah Tech, 6-1

St. George, UT - The Weber State women's tennis squad sprang back into action this morning with a victory against Utah Tech, 6-1 at the Trailblazer Tennis Courts.Â
In doubles play, the 'Cats quickly secured the 1-0 advantage winning on all three courts. Wildcat duo Ana Morett and Megan Davies defeated Rachel Mellor and Annemiek Sterk 6-3. On court two, Dylan Lolofie and Megan Lombardi swiftly secured the point 6-2. Kenadee Semenik and Sicely Ferreira earned the victory against Alysha Damron and Jane Dorny 6-2.
When the match moved into singles, the 'Cats continued their great performances earning the 6-1 win.
Ana Morett defeated Rachel Mellor 7(3)-6(0), 6-2. Megan Davies downed her opponent in a swift 6-2, 6-1 match. Kenadee Semenik finished with a score of 6-3, 6-0 against Annemiek Sterk.Â
Cindy Ping An played out her match and won 6-4, 6-4. Dylan Lolofie cruised through her match on court six, finishing 6-2, 6-1 against Raquel Roshak. Utah Tech's Adithi Venkatakrishnan earned the Trailblazers their sole point on the day when she defeated Megan Lombardi 6-3, 6-1.Â
