Wildcat Soccer Finishes Nonconference Play Against Utah

Weber State soccer finished their nonconference schedule with a 1-1 tie against the University of Utah on Sept 14 at Wildcat Soccer Field.
"It's the type of game you want before going into conference play," head coach Craig Sanders said. "It was an intense game, all 90 minutes. We played very well, very disciplined."
Grace Kirby found the back of the net off of an assist from Morgan Furmaniak at 6:23.
The 'Cats held on to the lead headed into the half. The Utes were the next to answer, tying the contest off of a goal from Taliana Kaufusi at 47:02.
Hadley Harris finished the match with seven saves.
The Wildcats will hit the road to kick off Big Sky Conference play at the University of Idaho on Sept 20 at 8 pm MT. The match will be streamed on ESPN +.
