Thanks to the generous donation and support of a former Weber State football player, this week WSU is unveiling a new 53-foot truck dedicated to Wildcat football to transport equipment for each road game. The truck from Redbone Trucking is made possible through the support of Al Jones, a former WSU football player and the president of Redbone Trucking.
When Weber State football hits the road this week at Northern Iowa, the Wildcats will have a new look, and it won't be anything on the field.Â

The truck from Redbone Trucking is made possible through the support of Al Jones, a former WSU football player and the president of Redbone Trucking. Redbone will also provide a driver for each Wildcat away game. Â
"Thanks to the generosity and support of Al Jones and his company Redbone Trucking, we now have a well-branded and reliable transportation solution for our football equipment, said Weber State Director of Athletics Tim Crompton. "It has not only made our travel much smoother but has also enhanced our overall image as a team. With the Redbone Trucking logo and the Wildcat mark displayed proudly on the semi-trailer, we can showcase our strong partnership to all the schools and communities we visit.
Â
"Al Jones' dedication to our program goes above and beyond…the truck, the trailer, the driver… we cannot thank him enough for his support. His contributions have significantly impacted our ability to compete at the highest level and have made a lasting impression on our student-athletes, coaching staff, and fans alike. We look forward to continuing this incredible partnership in the seasons to come. Redbone Trucking's involvement with Weber State Athletics is greatly appreciated. We are honored to have Redbone Trucking as an esteemed member of our team."
