Wilson Earns Summit League Award for Second-Straight Week

SIOUX FALLS, SD – Weber State's Matthew Wilson earned the Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week for the second week in-a-row on Thursday following his performance at the Utah Collegiate Shootout.
Wilson posted a second-consecutive top-10 finish this week, finishing sixth overall at Sunbrook Golf Club in St. George, Utah to help lead Weber State to a third place team finish.
Matthew shot rounds of 69 and 70 for a 5-under par total of 139 in the 36-hole event. He posted 10 birdies over his two rounds and added an eagle on the 281-yard par-4 14th hole in his opening round.
The award is the second career weekly honor for the freshman from Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.
