'Cats fall 2-1 to the Lumberjacks

The 'Cats fell 2-1 to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks at Wildcat Soccer Field on October 25. The Wildcats fall to 4-11-5 on the season.Â
The 'Jacks were the first to find the back of the net off of a penalty kick in the first half.Â
Sammie Sofonia recorded the equalizing goal off of an assist from Hannah Kallias and headed into the half time.Â
NAU scored the game winner early in the second half, giving the 'Jacks a 2-1 lead.Â
The 'Cats recorded 15 shots with 10 being on target. Ali Swensen recorded five shots with three on target, Sofonia, Kallias, Sayler Schlosser and Lily Blum each recorded two shots and Alaina Wildenradt and Brynlee Meyerhoffer each recorded one shot.Â
Hadley Harris was goalkeeper and recorded two saves.Â
The 'Cats will be back in action on October 27 to take on the University of Montana at Wildcat Soccer Field at 1 pm.
