GAME WEEK: #4 seed Weber State will face the #5 seed Eastern Washington in Quarterfinals of the Big Sky Tournament

The 2024 Big Sky Volleyball Tournament will be held in Sacramento, CA and hosted by the Sacramento State Hornets. The top eight teams in the conference regular season standings advance to the championship. The winner of the championship receives the Big Sky's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Weber State finished the season 13-14, 10-6 to earn the #4 seed in the tournament. #4 seed Weber State will take on #5 seed Eastern Washington in the Quarterfinals on Wednesday, November 27 at 11:00 a.m. (MT).

Wildcat Leaders
  • Ashley Gneiting leads the Wildcats this season in kills with 320. She recorded a season high 20 kills against the Wildcats match against Idaho State on October 11. During the 2023 season, she played in 99 sets, collected 188 kills and
  • recorded 246 points.
  • Kate Payne is on top in assists for the Wildcats with 919 assists this season, the second most in Wildcat history. Payne is also ranked third in Weber State history for digs with 1,501.
  • Freshman Marly Pratt leads the squad in digs with 369 this season.
  • Saane Munyer has totaled 113 blocks this season to lead the Wildcats. Last season, Munyer collected 72 blocks and 105 kills for an average attack percentage of .346.

Senior Stars
Three seniors returned for the Wildcats. Setter Kate Payne, opposite Baylee Bodily, and middle blocker Liana Woodley. Last season, Payne played in 117 sets, totaled 1,166 assists, 403 digs, and 169 total attacks. Bodily played in 105 sets last season and totaled 276 kills. She had an attack percentage of .186 and collected 54 blocks. Woodley totaled 144 kills and 84 blocks playing in 94 sets for the Wildcats. She finished the season with a .294 attack percentage.

Fresh Faces
Weber State welcomed four new players to the roster. Freshmen Morgan Pratt a setter and Marly Pratt a libero from Mapleton, UT. Victoria Marthaler an opposite from Albuquerque, New Mexico and Maggie Kamp, a libero from North Bend, Washington.
