GAME NOTES: Wildcats back home for in-state matchup against Wolverines

Weber State women's basketball is back home at the Dee Events Center after a six road game stretch to face the Utah Valley Wolverines on December 20.
Weber State is under the direction of second year head coach Jenteal Jackson who was named the seventh head coach in WSU history. A Utah native and former in-state college player, she came to Weber State after spending the two seasons as head coach at Westminster College in Salt Lake City. Prior to becoming head coach, she spent nine seasons as an assistant coach at Westminster. She played college basketball at BYU and Westminster.
This will be the 18th all-time meeting between the Wildcats and the Wolverines. Weber State leads the series 9-8. In the last game between the two, Utah Valley won 56-55 in Orem.
Following Friday's game, the Wildcats return to the Dee Events Center on January 2 for their first Big Sky matchup against the Northern Colorado Bears.
