Weber State men’s tennis duo earns fall ITA national ranking

OGDEN - The Wildcat doubles duo of Connor Kruger and Minh Tuan Dinh Viet landed the No. 117 position in the 2024 year-end ITA national rankings released by the ITA.
Kruger and Dinh Viet teamed up for a 9-3 record together in doubles during the fall season. The duo has defeated teams from Idaho, New Mexico State, Utah State, BYU, Utah, Boise State, Air Force, and Idaho State.
The Wildcat duo took down Idaho State in the finals of the ITA Regionals winning the tournament and securing an automatic bid to the NCAA doubles event. The last time that Weber State won the regional tournament was in 1989.
Entering the NCAA Individual Championships as only the second team in Weber State history to play in the doubles event, the two battled against their opponents but ultimately fell 3-6, 6-4, 9-11 to the number nine ranked duo from Charlotte.
