Weber State had four players in double figures in the win.

GREELEY, Colo. - Four players scored in double figures as Weber State picked up another big road win with an 82-63 victory over Northern Colorado Saturday night at the Bank of Colorado Arena.

UNC was 8-1 at home this season entering the game and was in second place in the Big Sky at 6-2. The Wildcats snapped UNC's six game home winning streak with their fifth road win of the season.

The game was tied 30-30 before a 19-2 run at the end of the first half and the start of the second half sealed the Wildcat win.

The 'Cats scored the final six points of the first half and led 36-30 at halftime. WSU started the second half on a 13-2 run and never looked back, as the lead was never less than 12 the rest of the way. WSU led by as many as 18 points twice before the 19 point win.

The 63 points by Northern Colorado is a season low. Weber State shot 49 percent from the field and held the Bears to 38 percent. WSU was 8 of 22 from 3-point range and had just seven turnovers, tied for the fewest in a game this season.

Dillon Jones led the Wildcats with 21 points, along with nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals. He also moved into seventh in scoring in Weber State history.

Steven Verplancken added 20 points, his second-highest scoring game this season. He was 8 of 11 from the field and knocked down three 3-pointers, to go along with five rebounds.

Dyson Koehler added 14 points, with 10 points in the second half. He was 4 of 6 from the field with two 3-pointers and tied his career-high with eight rebounds.

KJ Cunningham scored 11 points off the bench with two 3-pointers, along with four rebounds, three steals, and two assists.

"Early on we were able to get control of the game defensively and then on offense we had guys step up and make some shots," said WSU head coach Eric Duft. "We guarded well and took care of the ball and played more to our identity."

WSU improved to 14-9 overall and 5-5 in Big Sky play as Saturday's game mark the start of the second half of the 18-game conference season.

Weber State will return home for two games next week hosting Portland State on Thursday and Sacramento State on Saturday at the Dee Events Center.
