Football back home Saturday night to host McNeese

Saturday's game is the annual Blackout Game at Weber State. WSU is ranked 25th in the nation in this week's polls.
After two games on the road, the Weber State football team returns home Saturday night at Stewart Stadium.Â
Weber State will host the McNeese Cowboys Saturday night at 6 p.m. at Stewart Stadium and it's a Blackout Game. All Wildcat fans are encouraged to wear black.Â
After last week's 39-0 shutout win at Northwestern State, Weber State is ranked 25th in the nation in this week's Stats Perform FCS poll.Â
Wildcat senior Kemari Munier-Bailey was named the National Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Saturday's win, that included six tackles for loss with three sacks.Â
At Saturday's home game, Weber State will recognize this year's Hall of Fame class. Joel Bolomoby (men's basketball), McCauley Flint (softball), Sariah Long (women's track and field/cross country), Tim Toone (football), and Dick Webber (Reed K. Swenson Award), will all be recognized at halftime of Saturday's game.Â
WSU will also be recognized for winning the 2023-24 Big Sky Presidents' Cup with a presentation from the conference at halftime.Â
