Know the Foe - LMU
Series 2-2
This will be the fifth all-time meeting between the Wildcats and the Lions. The last time Weber State played LMU was in 2023 in Ogden where the Lions defeated the Wildcats 3-0. Last season, LMU went 20-6, 13-3.
Know the Foe - SMU
Series 1-2
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between WSU and SMU. The last time the Wildcats and Mustangs played each other was in 2019 in Springfield, MO where Weber State won 3-0. Last season, SMU went 26-7, 18-1. The Mustangs defeated Texas State 3-0 in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Volleyball Championship and fell 3-0 in the second round against the #2 seed Texas.
Know the Foe - Milwaukee
This will be the first meeting between the Wildcats and the Panthers. During the 2023 season, Milwaukee went 21-12, 13-5.
Senior Stars
Weber State has three seniors returning for the Wildcats. Setter Kate Payne, opposite Baylee Bodily, and middle blocker Liana Woodley. Last season, Payne played in 117 sets, totaled 1,166 assists, 403 digs, and 169 total attacks. Bodily played in 105 sets last season and totaled 276 kills. She had an attack percentage of .186 and collected 54 blocks. Woodley totaled 144 kills and 84 blocks playing in 94 sets for the Wildcats. She finished the season with a .294 attack percentage.
Fresh Faces
Four players make up the freshman class for 2024. Morgan Pratt a setter and Marly Pratt a libero from Mapleton, UT. Victoria Marthaler an opposite from Albuquerque, New Mexico and Maggie Kamp a libero from North Bend, Washington.
