Women’s Tennis kicks off fall schedule at the Jon Messick Invitational

Fort Collins, Colo. - Weber State women's tennis kicked off their fall schedule at the Jon Messick Invitational. The tournament ran through Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29.
The tournament consisted of teams from Colorado State, Wyoming, Utah State, South Dakota, Iowa State, Air Force, and Oregon.
During day one of the Jon Messick Invitational, the duo of Jessica Hill and Cindy Li defeated Medvyedyeva and Bird from South Dakota 6-1.
The Wildcats saw more victories on day two when Hill and Li won 6-2 against their Air Force opponents. Both Hill and Li also had an outstanding performance in singles play. Hill defeated Charisse Tigrado from Air Force 6-0, 6-1 and Li defeated Selena Bird from South Dakota 6-1, 6-3.
To finish out the tournament on day three, Hill and Li again secured a doubles win against Air Force 6-3.
