Macias sketches his name in WSU record book twice
Jae Macias was named the Big Sky Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday.Â
The Wildcat freshman earned the award after recording a 6.83 time in the 60m dash and a 37.34 time in the 300m dash at the BYU Invitational.
Macias's 60m dash time is now the Weber State Freshman Record, as well as #4 on the All-Time Indoor Top 10 in school history.Â
The Wildcats will now look forward to hosting the Weber State Indoor Invitational January 10-11, 2026.
