Wyatt Larkins earns Big Sky Field Athlete of the Week award

Larkins was named the Big Sky Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
The Wildcat freshman earned the award after recording a mark of 218'-11" in the Hammer Throw. His mark is currently the best in the conference and sits 19th in the NCAA.
Larkins now holds two school records in Weber State history. The Hammer Throw and the Weight Throw he set in the indoor season.
He previously broke the 27 year old Hammer Throw school record earlier in the season before resetting it at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational in La Jolla, California.
The Wildcats will now look forward to hosting the WSU Spring Classic April 10. This meet will be in conjunction with the U of U Spring Classic April 11.
