4x100 Relay Team sets new school and stadium record at home

4x100 Team: Nakosi Swain, Jae Macias, Jeremiah Wallace, and Tyler Warnick
The Weber State men's track and field team hosted its only home meet of the season over the weekend. The meet was split between the WSU Spring Classic and U of U Spring Classic.
"It was awesome to have so many alumni at the meet to support us. We have an amazing group of former track and field athletes at Weber State," Head Coach Corbin Talley said.

"The performance of the meet for us had to be the 4x100m relay breaking the 16-year old school record," Talley said. "I found out later that it was also a stadium record. We hope we can build something special there since it was a group of four freshmen."
The seniors were recognized during their final home meet for their hard work and dedication to the Wildcats.
"I was really pleased with the efforts of all our athletes, both in competition and in helping with meet management," Talley said.
The Wildcats will now split squad at the Bryan Clay Invitational April 16-18 in Azusa, California and the Oregon Team Challenge April 17-18 in Eugene, Oregon.
