Wyatt Larkins named Big Sky Field Athlete of the Week

Wildcat Freshman Wyatt Larkins earns the Big Sky Field Athlete of the Week in back-to-back weeks for his second conference award of the season.

Larkins earned the award after hitting a mark of 208'-3" in the hammer throw at the WSU Spring Classic April 10. He took 1st place in the event with a margin of victory of over 15 feet.

Larkins currently sits 22nd in the NCAA in the hammer throw due to his school record mark of 218'-11" he set earlier in the season at the UC San Diego Triton Invitational.

The Wildcats will now split squad at the Bryan Clay Invitational April 16-18 in Azusa, California and the Oregon Team Challenge April 17-18 in Eugene, Oregon.
