Wildcat track and Field kicks off Big Sky Indoor Championships

The 'Cats are back in action with the Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in Flagstaff, Arizona. The championships will be held over the course of three days, Feb. 27 to March 1 at the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome.

The first day of the championships will host both the pentathlon and heptathlon, events starting at 10 am and will run until 3 pm.

Field events will kick off for the second day of the meet on Feb. 28 at 11 am and run until 6 pm with the weight throw. Track events will start at 10 am and wrap up around 7:25 pm with the 5000m and Distance Medley Relay finals.

March 1 will open with finals for the field events around 10 am with the high jump and the final event of the meet will be the 4x400 relay at 2:30 pm. The award ceremony will follow the conclusion of all field events.

The entire meet will be streamed on ESPN+ and live stats will be recorded through Athletic Live.

Following the Big Sky Championships, the NCAA Championships will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia from March 13-15.
