Vandals top ‘Cats

Moscow, ID — The Idaho Vandal defeated the Weber State Wildcats 7-0 in the Kibbie Dome as the Wildcats drop to 0-14 on the season.
The Wildcats dropped the doubles point after losing positions #2 and #3. Jessica Hill and Sydney Schnell defeated their opponent on Court #1 6-4. The wins on #2 and #3 gave the Vandals a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
In singles, the Vandals swept the Wildcats in all six matches. Alicia Morales and Cindy Li were able to take their matches to the limit forcing a third set before ultimately falling short in three. No other Wildcats were able to force a third set.
The Wildcats will head across the border to Cheney, Washington to take on the Eastern Washington Eagles on Saturday, March 15th at noon (M.T.). The Eagles boast a 2-7 mark on the season with a 0-2 record in conference play. The Wildcats will continue their search for their elusive first win of the season.
