'Cats complete Utah Spring Classic

Wildcat track and field wrapped up the Utah Spring Classic in Salt Lake on April 12. 

Miley Richards finished second in the javelin throw with a mark of 144-11 and is now eighth on the all-time list and Bailey Tovey finished in sixth at 136-05.

Jasmine Devers finished fourth in the 200m with a time of 24.34, Makayla Oliver finished seventh at 25.13 and Emily Gwilliam finished with a time of 26.09.

Devers, Oliver, Eliza Smith, and Charlotte Wilkinson finished fourth in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:57.09. 

Payge Walz finished sixth in the 100m with a time of 12.01 and Oliver finished in 14th at 12.42. 

Smith finished sixth in the 400m hurdle with a time of 1:03.62 and Gwilliam finished in eighth at 1:03.87. 

Shannan Fonua finished eighth in the shot put with a mark of 42-10.25, Tovey finished in tenth at 41-08.75, Rachel Roberts finished in 14th at 40-05.00, Teisa Halaufia finished at 38-11.75 and Haley Hollins finished at 36-06.75. 

Maggie Featherstone finished ninth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:17.30 and Loryn Brimhall finished in 13th at 2:20.27.

The Wildcats will be back in action for the Bryan Clay and Long Beach Invitationals held between April 17-19.
