'Cats finish strong at Bryan Clay and Long Beach Invitationals

The Wildcats recorded a series of strong performances this past weekend at the Bryan Clay and Long Beach Invitationals.

Long Beach Invitational
Makayla Oliver recorded a first place finish in the long jump with a mark of 18-9.75.

Charlotte Wilkinson finished fifth in the 800 meter run at 2:12.36.

Miley Richards recorded a sixth place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 141-07.

Emily Gwilliam recorded a seventh place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.49.

Jasmine Devers, Oliver, ELiza Smith and Payge Walz recorded an 11th place finish in 4x100 relay with a time of 47.07.

Devers recorded a tenth place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.42, Payge Walz finished at 25.21 and Oliver finished at 25.60.

Walz finished the 100 meter hurdles at 14.04, Eliza Smith finished at 14.27 and Gwilliam recorded a time of 14.82.

Devers recorded a time of 12.21 in the 100 meter dash and Walz finished at 12.36.

Gwilliam recorded a time of 1:02.89 and Eliza Smith finished at 1:03.01 in the 400 hurdles.

Devers, Oliver, Eliza Smith and Wilkinson recorded a time of 4:01.13 in the 4x400 relay.

Aimee Chambers finished 14th in the high jump with a mark of 5-3.25 and Sarah Spangenberg recorded a mark of 5-0.25.

Kapua Pulotu finished the discus with a mark of 154-04 and Rachel Roberts finished at 135-08.

Pulotu finished the shot put with a mark of 45-1.75, Shannan Fonua finished at 42-0.50, Bailey Tovey recorded a mark of 40-11.50 and Rachel Roberts finished at 40-3.25.

Bryan Clay Invitational
Laurie Murphy recorded a third place finish in their heat of the 5000 meter run with a time of 16:24.40 and is now eighth on the all-time list.

Saga Hagelin finished with a time of 4:25.45 in the 1500 meter invite and is now ninth on the all-time list.

Hagelin finished with a time of 10:13.99 in the 3000 meter steeplechase invite.

Audrey Camp Cazier finished the 3000 meter steeplechase open with a time of 10:28.92.

Trisha Thompason Davis finished the 5000 meter run with a time of 17:10.77, Hailey Low finished at 17:11.70 and Frances Hudson recorded a time of 17:18.06. Courtney Earl recorded a fourth place finish in their heat of the run with a time of 17:19.29.

Hannah Bailey finished the 800 meter run invite with a time of 2:10.65.

Maggie Featherstone recorded a time of 2:16.05 and Sandra Aberg finished at 2:16.94 in the 800 meter run open event.

Hannah Bailey finished 11th in the 1500 meter open run with a time of 4:27.07 and Camp Cazier finished at 4:43.26.

Aberg finished the 1500 meter open with a time of 4:38.80 and Featherstone finished at 4:40.98.
